Woven with Purpose

Every Rope Leaves a Trace. Ours Shouldn't.

A rope connects people to mountains, work, rescue, and adventure. But every product also leaves an impact behind, through the materials we use, the energy we consume, the water we save, and the communities we touch.

Sustainability isn’t a buzzword at Namah; it’s our tradition. We’ve woven responsibility into every strand of rope we craft for over a century. Every step of our production respects the planet, from utilizing recycled nylon and eco-friendly, waterless dyeing processes to powering our operations with solar energy and natural gas. Our commitment doesn’t end at manufacturing; we invest 2.5% of our profits into education, healthcare, and social welfare through long-standing charitable trusts. With sustainable packaging and a focus on water conservation and waste recycling, we aim to climb responsibly, protecting the environment and empowering the communities that support us. Because sustainability isn't separate from what we make. It is part of how we make it.

We make ropes for places where reliability matters. Our approach to sustainability follows the same principle: make thoughtful choices, measure where we can, improve where we can, and keep moving forward.

Take only memories, leave only footprints

Take only memories, leave only footprints

We believe sustainable climbing equipment begins with responsible manufacturing. That's why we look beyond the finished product, considering the materials, energy, water, waste, and packaging involved throughout production.

Like the footprints we leave behind, every rope we craft reflects responsibility, resilience, and respect. With sustainability woven into every strand, we aim to empower adventure while protecting the very landscapes that inspire it. After all, the best journeys are those that leave only memories behind.

  • Powered by solar energy and 100% natural gas operations

60+ YEARS OF GIVING BACK

For decades, community investment has been part of how we operate, not a recent addition to our sustainability agenda.

At Namah, we’ve earned trust through decades of dedication, not just to performance, but to people and the planet. We believe that a sustainable business should leave people stronger, too.

For over 60 years, we’ve quietly channeled 2.5% of our profits into social upliftment (such as long-standing charitable funds for schools, hospitals, and social units).

  • Built on a legacy of ethical responsibility and community care
  • 2.5% of profits reinvested into education, healthcare, and welfare
  • Every rope sold helps uplift lives beyond the climbing world

At Namah, our commitment to the planet is woven into every strand of what we do. We’ve made significant strides in this endeavour:

  • We’ve transitioned entirely to 100% natural gas in our operations to reduce our carbon footprint.
  • Our manufacturing units are powered by solar energy, embracing renewable sources for a cleaner tomorrow.
  • We actively practice water harvesting and efficient waste recycling to preserve natural resources.
  • We utilize recycled nylon in our ropes, reducing waste and promoting circular manufacturing.
  • Our production includes eco-friendly, waterless dyeing processes, minimizing water usage and chemical runoff.
  • Every step of our process is designed to respect the planet, combining high performance with environmental responsibility.
